 On July 29th, my sweet friend Jessica Treat lost her battle to cancer. She
was a beautiful person who cared deeply about the people around her. She
actively worked to protect the environment. She was a champion of musicians
and artists, and would organize and promote concerts that featured many San
Diego artists and brought them together. She will be loved and missed by so
many people for her great heart, her sense of humor, her talent, her beauty,
and her sweet smile.
Jessica came up on stage many times to sing with me. She loved one song in
particular, "Love is Your
Anchor." Many of you haven't heard this song because it's going to be on the new album.
I'm putting up a live recording
of Jessica singing with me on this song. I want to dedicate this song to my
dear friend who was way too young to pass away. My prayers go out for her
family and friends.
