Things I loved this week:
1. The wind blowing the trees in my backyard at night, like a wild animal slinking through the darkness, full of energy and ready for what is coming. What it is, I don't know, but I have to be awake so I don't miss it.
2. The acting of Colin Firth, the quiet Englishman who lets you feel every twinge of his heart through his eyes.
3. The voice of singer-songwriter Johnathan
Rice, which opened my ears with its freshness. Listen to his song

I'll be back in the studio in mid-June. The album is coming, I promise. It will be worth the wait. |
