I know it's been a long time
since I posted ... sorry about that! So much is going
on. I'm in the studio writing new songs as we speak ...
very excited about the new material.
It's been a long, hot summer
here in Texas. I think it's the most brutal summer I've
ever experienced. But finally, something in the air has
changed ... it's still hot, but summer's back is broken.
Autumn has always brought a fresh breath of coolness,
full of energy --I am convinced that anything can
happen.
I've been watching a program
on PBS called "The
Question of God: C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud Debate
God, Love, Sex, and the Meaning of Life."
I love Lewis, and I have found this
program to be fascinating. It parallels the lives of
Lewis and Freud from childhood through adulthood and
describes what influences caused them to choose their
beliefs. It also includes a panel of people with really
diverse belief systems debating the subject matter that
is presented. I recommend that you catch it if you get
the chance!
I'll try not to take so long
to write next time! Until then, don't be too safe ...
